This fall, we are taking over the Old Prison Cultural Hotel in Stord and transforming it into our PopUp restaurant. Our star chefs will bring their unique culinary artistry to create an unforgettable dining experience at our exclusive restaurant.

This culinary experience package begins the moment you step through the doors of the Old Prison Cultural Hotel, centrally located in Stord (see map below).
The dining experience begins at 7:00 PM.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with an aperitif, followed by a storytelling session about the prison's history, tied to this season's destination.
You will then be guided to the restaurant, where a 7–10 course menu prepared by the guest chef of the week will be served. A complementary wine pairing will also be available.
The experience concludes at approximately 11:00 PM.

Our Guest Chefs
Our guest chefs are tasked with creating a menu focusing on their specialties, but using ingredients local to the PopUp restaurant. Chefs specializing in everything from neo-Nordic to Spanish to Japanese have risen to the task of serving incredible, memorable meals to our guests in locations ranging from a coal mine in Svalbard to and old prison in Stord to a riverfront dream in Jølster! We are overjoyed chefs with both stars and awards choose to join this adventure.
Our Suppliers
PopUp would not be the same without the local suppliers on the team. We are incredibly lucky to have so much fresh and great food to pick from no matter what location we have selected in Norway. We love joining with the local businesses who place great emphasis on quality and going the extra mile. Our chefs are taken on a tasting tour to visit local suppliers and see where the products come from.
