This winter, we are taking over the ‘Skinkerådhuset’ in Stranda and transforming it into our PopUp restaurant. From February 28 to March 29, we will be back with fantastic chefs who will challenge themselves with the local ingredients that Stranda and its surroundings have to offer. We look forward to welcoming you to culinary experiences set against the backdrop of Stranda’s industrial history.

This culinary experience package begins as soon as you enter the doors of 'Skinkreådhuset,' conveniently located in the center of Stranda (see map below).

  • The food experience starts at 18:00.

  • Upon arrival, you will be greeted with an aperitif before we delve into the industrial history of the season's destination.

  • You will then be escorted to the restaurant, where you will be served an incredible menu prepared by the guest chef of the week. A separate wine pairing package, with wines handpicked for each dish will be available for purchase.

Our guest chefs are tasked with creating a menu, which highlights their specialties, using ingredients local to the PopUp location. We have enjoyed a vast array of cuisines from neo-Nordic to Spanish to Japanese - each as impressive as the other. We are so thrilled these accomplished, starred and awarded chefs have chosen to join us in this adventure.

Our Suppliers

PopUp would not be the same without the local food suppliers on our team. We are incredibly lucky to have so many fresh and fantastic options in each beautiful location. We choose suppliers who attach great importance to the quality of their products and work to provide that little bit extra. Our guest chefs are introduced to the nearest suppliers, showing them where the food they will use comes from.
